Frequently asked questions
What is this?
Bingo where the squares are political clichés instead of numbers. You build your card before the debate and tick the phrases off as they are said.
Does it cost anything?
No. The game is free, there are no ads, and nothing is for sale.
Do I need an account?
No. Enter a name and you are in. An account is only needed if you want the history of your past games — and you can save an account afterwards without losing what you have already played.
How many can play?
Anyone with the code or the link. There is no upper limit, but cards are built one by one, so allow a minute per person before you start.
How big is the card?
Whoever creates the game picks 3×3, 4×4 or 5×5. Odd sizes have a free centre square that counts as a hit from the start, as in ordinary bingo.
Can several people get bingo at once?
Yes, by design. Cards are not shuffled, so picking the same phrases in the same order as someone else gives you the same card.
Can I use my own phrases?
Yes. Type whatever you like in the card builder, alongside the suggestions. If you would rather not choose at all, the Fill the rest button fills the card for you.
What if someone ticks a phrase that was never said?
Protest. The protest is counted and visible to everyone, but it does not remove the hit — the game does not rule on who is right, that is left to you. You cannot protest your own hits.
Does the game come in other flavours?
Yes. Floskelbingo is the same game with meeting clichés, for the quarterly review and the kick-off rather than the debate.Go to Floskelbingo »
Which languages are available?
The interface is available in Swedish and English, and you choose in the menu. The phrases, however, belong to the game rather than to you: whoever creates the game picks their language, so everyone in the same round chooses from the same set.
What is stored about me?
As a guest: the name you entered, your card and your hits. A guest player is tied to a cookie in your browser — clear it and you will not return as the same player. With an account, your email address is also stored, and used only for signing in and resetting your password.
